I have had a very productive week, where I was able to go to my local used bookstore! I looked around and grabbed a few books I feel will work nicely for this part of my Little Red Dress Project! I also had a day to complete an ad campaign to promote and encourage today's youth not to use their phones at the dinner table. This was a really fun topic to explore, I was able to come up with the slogan "Forks Up, Phones Down" which I thought was short simple and got straight to the point. I used the creative commons license to find a photo that represent teenagers and people in their early twenties, as well as young children. In these photos you can see that they are all at a table eating while on their phones. I decided to add on to the wording with "let's feed the conversation" I think this was a nice play on words, and fit with the theme I was going for. For my wordmark I paired three typefaces together, one script typeface for the capital letters in Forks Up, and another for the lowercases. My third typeface was a sans serif for the "phone down" and rest of my wording. I think this project turned out really nicely and Im really proud of what I was able to create.
